If you are new to Canberra, a few things about buying tobacco in the ACT may be different from what you are used to. Here is what to expect when you visit our counter.
You must be 18 or over
It is illegal to sell tobacco products to anyone under 18. Our team will ask for photo ID if you look under 25. A driver licence, passport or proof of age card is fine.
Products are kept out of sight
ACT law requires tobacco products to be kept out of public view. Just ask at the counter and our staff will help.
